Gdansk-based Polish catamaran manufacturer Sunreef Yachts has already won numerous awards for its sailing yachts and multihull motor vessels. In 2015, the company has extended its ´Power concept` range with the addition of the 150 Sunreef Power Catamaran and the 150 Power Trimaran. Once Sunreef Yachts gets to build the units, the shipyard will recommend to equip them with MTU 16V 2000 M94 engines producing 1,939 kW. For customers seeking increased rating, the shipyard will suggest the M84 version of the 16V 2000 propulsion unit with 1,630 kW offering 3,000 hours of operation per year.
The 150 Sunreef Power Catamaran is 46 meters long and offers passengers an extremely generous 980 square meters of space. It comes with all the benefits of a catamaran: twin-hull stability, ample space thanks to the wide beam, shallow draft and low fuel consumption. The master suite is located on the top deck – with a 360º panoramic-aspect window. Whether guest requirements include Jacuzzi facilities, stowage for water-sports equipment, VIP cabins or whatever, the catamaran comfortably accommodates up to 12 passengers and 8 crew. Vessel construction times will not exceed two years.
The futuristic, cutting-edge design of the second new model, the 150 Power Trimaran, is immediately impressive. This yacht is also around 46 meters in length but offers three hulls for greatly enhanced stability at sea. This is a smaller and more intimate version of the 210 Power Trimaran introduced in 2013. The architects at Sunreef Yachts have earned a reputation for setting the pace in terms of construction and spatial design and it was they who created the 370 square meters of space available on board for up to ten passengers (even without the additional eight crew members). Passengers have ample room to relax over two levels offering on-board luxury on a trimaran yacht that delivers maximum performance afloat.
